What is Institutional membership of BKC?
|
|
BKC as an institution to promote knowledge society here in Bihar, trying hard to
interact with knowledge institutions (colleges, research institution, schools &
training institutes etc.) It has created a platform on which ideas and
information can be exchanged to attain mutual goal of better service to the
society and mentoring support to next generation.

Why to become an Institutional Member of BKC?
|
|
We have long knowledge heritage. There are many training, research and
educational institution spread even in remote area of the state. Many of such
institutions lacks inputs about the rapid changes that is happening in knowledge
world and thus becoming obsolete. They continue with the less meaningful model
of education and training to the young one. There is obvious gap exist in
curriculum of such institutions and the requirement of the society. How can an
ill informed institution groom / prepare students without sufficient information
of modern changes in knowledge world? The students /trainees are deprived of
knowledge about industry standard, new advancement in science and technologies,
new career avenues etc.Thus such institutes deserves CB assistance in form of
training and faculty development, information sharing sessions etc. Many of the
institutions located at remote places are engaged in innovative and pioneer work
but seldom get noticed. BKC membership is a response to contribute in correction
of this said situation.

What are different services a member can get if become an Institutional Member
of BKC?
|
Institutional members can get following services from BKC:
- BKC can help them to develop a team of dedicated volunteer one who can train and
equip faculties and peer group in uses of IT.
- BKC along with the member institution conduct seminar for the students/faculties
about the new skill sets required for modern industries, development in science
and technologies, career opportunities if requested by the members.
- BKC can consider the members proposal of faculty development programme in IT and
non IT subject
- BKC can advisory services to the institution in area of improvement of education
and training activities.

|
- An institution that are conducting specialised training technical education
courses in Bihar
- The colleges and schools conducting higher secondary and above courses in Bihar
- Research and development institutions in Bihar
- Any advance training institutions who is interested in promotion of knowledge
sector in Bihar

What are the way to become a BKC institutional Member?
|
Download the application form and get it filled by head of the institution.
Annex a brief profile of your institution Submit along with a demand draft of Rs
5000 (Rs/ five thousand) in favour of BeST payable at Patna.
